Doc Anderson's Traveling Medicine Wagon Show is an old-fashioned magic show that features comic snake-oil pitchman "Doc Anderson" and his outrageous "Swamp Oil Elixir". Doc will have you in stiches with his ballyhoo and tongue-in-cheek scientific demonstrations. With lots of corny jokes and plenty of audience participation, it's sure to be great fun for everyone. And because many people don't know the real history behind traveling medicine shows, Doc includes fun and informative facts revealing their strong influence on entertainment even today. This attraction as educational as it is entertaining. Illowa Marine has been kind enough to make sure there is plenty of family entertainment on the grounds by co-sponsoring this with Ken Kroemer Insurance and Quality Concrete.
Ray Thompson's Theater of The Mind

The audience volunteers are the stars of the stage as the stage hypnotist, Ray Thompson, has them become astronauts, Elvis, ballet dancers, etc. and enjoying the applause of the audience. The guy on the left seems to think his underwear is on too tight for some reason while the guy on the right thinks he is the biggest rock star to hit the stage. Ray Thompson has been attending Clinton Riverboat Days for 20 years now and is just as entertaining now as the first year he was here. Ray's background in theater, teaching, sales training, counseling, and magic is used to provide you with a show to remember. Guests on stage enjoy the hypnotic experience and want to be hypnotized again. Bitler Marine in Albany, Illinois and Clinton Custom Sheds have co-sponsored this event to make sure everyone has an opportunity to see this high energy, unforgetable show.

Kira came to our event for the first time last year. She was very excited to come back as last year she had such a great time drawing the children on the grounds at no cost. Every kid that attends Clinton Riverboat Days on Sunday will have the opportunity to have Kira draw their picture for FREE. Happy Joe's has been kind enough to make this happen for our community. Make sure the next time you visit our local Happy Joe's you thank them for bringing this event back for all the kids in our area.
Mr Nick's Balloon Entertainment
Mr. Nick is originaly from Clinton so he has a great appreciation for our event. Last year was his first year performing for us and he did a wonderful job. He makes balloon animals, hats, and just about anything you can imagine. He will be available again this year on Sunday to make sure every boy and girl on the grounds gets a balloon of their choice and also will be doing a show for everyone at 11:00. Happy Joe's was able to make this possable to have at our event again this year. Please be sure to thank them next time you visit the store.

2nd Annual Big Wheel Races

Clinton Riverboat Days will be having the 2nd anual BIG WHEEL RACE on Sunday July 4th. The race will have the age brackets of boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 9. The winner of each bracket will be taking home the big wheels. Huizenga & Wierenga Insurance of Fulton, Illinois will again be sponsoring this event. Please check back as the schedule is completed to ensure your place in the race.
